The RTA, Jefferson Transit (JeT) and the Regional Planning Commission are in the beginning stages of a system-wide comprehensive operating analysis or bus route re-imagination. The process is meant to take a route-by-route look into what is and what is not working with our current routes. 

Transit riders, specifically in New Orleans East, have let RIDE staff and volunteers know about some of the challenges they face on a daily basis. We want to ensure that this process includes the voices of those who need to see improvements the most. This focus group is one step in the process. It gives RIDE staff more insight on what the priorities of East riders want to see from potential changes to their bus routes.
