Join us for a RIDE-Along on Saturday, April 19th at 10am.
The Coalition for Quality Transit recently challenged city and transit agency leadership to ride transit! We know that meaningful changes cannot be made until decision-makers experience the obstacles transit riders face firsthand. Join us on a RIDE-Along where we explore our transit system’s access to jobs and resources, and the importance of challenging leaders and elected officials to get on the bus!
We're meeting in the lobby of the Main Library (219 Loyola Ave, NOLA 70112) and hopping on a #3 Tulane/Elmwood bus to a popular job hub on Jefferson Highway. We'll discuss what we learned and how we can challenge city leadership to get on transit before heading back to The Library.
The entire RIDE-Along will take about 2 hours and we should arrive back at The Library by noon if there are no transit delays.
