About the Project:
The Better Bus Stops Project is a collaborative effort led by the Committee for a Better New Orleans, Ride New Orleans, the Regional Transit Authority, the City of New Orleans, and community partners. Together, we aim to transform transit stop infrastructure across RTA’s network to be resilient, safe, and sustainable.

Our project focuses on removing key barriers that stand in the way of making these improvements possible—whether that’s outdated processes, design challenges, or a lack of funding. As proud winners of the Greater New Orleans Foundation’s Next 100 Years Challenge, we’re committed to developing community-driven solutions that work for everyone.

Let’s make better bus stops a reality, together.
