The Regional Transit Authority (RTA) is updating its Strategic Mobility Plan (SMP) and asking for rider feedback. According to RTA, the SMP, is "a long-range plan that provides direction and guidance for the agency [and] articulates the vision for the future of the RTA..." With the RTA only having one planned outreach event so far, RIDE, in partnership with the Committee for a Better New Orleans (CBNO), is giving riders the opportunity to have their say.

The SMP was first implemented by RTA in 2018, after a yearlong planning process and community engagement. 

Now, five years and many agency changes later, the RTA is updating its SMP to better reflect current goals and priorities, and they want community input. 

Special Guest: Dwight Norton, RTA's Interim Chief of Planning & Infrastructure will be present to help us navigate these topics and updates, as well as the community input process.

As always, breakfast and coffee will be available.
