Saturday's Meeting Has Been Postponed Due to Weather!

Due to the forecasted bad weather and out of an abundance of caution, we have decided to postpone Saturday's Coalition for Quality Transit meeting. 

We have heard safety concerns from riders about using transit during inclement weather, and we want to ensure that our Coalition members are not left outside in the rain or worse. 

Please stay tuned, as we will be rescheduling this important conversation.

More about the Better Bus Stops Project: The Better Bus Stops Project is a collaboration between various community organizations, transit riders, and local agencies, including RIDE New Orleans and the Regional Transit Authority. Winning the Greater New Orleans Foundation’s Next 100 Years Challenge in 2023, the project aims to improve bus and streetcar stops across the RTA network, focusing on resilience, safety, and sustainability. It seeks to overcome barriers in process, design, and funding to make these improvements a reality.
