Due to forecasted inclement weather on Saturday, we’ve made the difficult decision to postpone our Coalition for Quality Transit meeting focused on heat safety for transit riders.

We know how important this conversation is — especially for those who rely on public transit and face dangerous summer conditions while waiting for the bus. But the safety of our Coalition members, riders, and partners comes first. We want to make sure everyone can attend safely and comfortably.

We’ll be in touch soon with a new date for the meeting, and we hope you’ll join us when it’s rescheduled. We’re still looking forward to welcoming you into our brand-new office space and diving into this critical discussion with the New Orleans Health Department.
