Join Ride New Orleans in partnership with the Complete Street Coalition for an interactive walking tour on May 15th at 10 AM!
Ride New Orleans will hold an interactive walking tour of downtown New Orleans to discuss how key Complete Streets treatments can improve transit service AND make New Orleans streets safer and more welcoming for all users.
We'll discuss how important a dedicated bus lane on O'Keefe can be for West Bank transit users and discuss how street space can be better arranged for all users. We'll look at some of the big problems for people walking, taking transit, and biking around the temporary downtown transfer center at Duncan Plaza. And we'll finish up at Basin + Canal - the RTA's chosen site for a new downtown transfer center - and discuss what's on the horizon there.
